For 107 years all the processing phases of our products have been carried out in Calabria. Not to delocalize production is our specific will to guarantee the quality of the Made in Italy product. The real secret of our quality, in fact, is the workmanship, the result of the balanced combination of tradition, technology and care given to the entire production process, from the selection of the raw material to the seasoning of the products to their marketing.
The tuna, caught in the Indian Ocean, is frozen whole on board the fishing boats and transferred to the Maierato (VV) plant where the necessary documentary and quality checks are carried out. Subsequently, after thawing which is carried out through flows of running water at room temperature, the tuna is sent to the cutting line, cut and then washed.
Our philosophy is founded on the values of Quality and Transparency, simple ingredients with which we have always tried to satisfy, defend and respect the needs of consumers. The processing of our products is carried out in Italy, in the Maierato (VV) plant in Calabria, where we follow the production phases according to a 100-year tradition. Even today, some formats, such as tuna fillets, are packaged by hand by our operators in full compliance with the strictest and most severe food safety standards.
